Works of the Holy Spirit

CONVICTS US (John 16:8-11)
"And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

GUIDES US IN ALL TRUTH (John 16:12-15)
12 "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. 15 "All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

LEADS US (Romans 8:14)
14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

ASSURES US (Romans 8:16)
16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,

INTERCEDES (Romans 8:26-27)
26 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; 27 and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

HELPS US IN OUR WEAKNESS (Romans 8:26)
26 In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;

COMPELS/DIRECTS US (Acts 20:22)
22 "And now, behold, bound by the Spirit, I am on my way to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there,

WARNS US (Acts 20:23)
23 except that the Holy Spirit solemnly testifies to me in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions await me.

TEACHES US (Luke 12:11)
11 "When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say;

COUNSELOR (John 14:26)
26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

GIVES US POWER (Acts 1:8)
but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

FILLS US (Acts 4:31)
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

STRENGTHENS & ENCOURAGES US (Acts 9:31)
31 So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace, being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase.

LOVES US (Romans 5:5)
and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

GIVES US OUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS (Hebrews 2:4)
God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.
